PTF: Fed Govt Reconsidering School Resumption

PTF: Adamu Adamu, Minister of Education during his press release of the PTF in Abuja on 11th January, 2021 made it clear that the federal government initial plans to resume schools next week Monday 18th January, 2021 is undergoing review due to the increased cases of coronavirus in the country.

Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora, Minister of State for Health also made his opinion known about the current National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) registration that is taking place nationwide.

Dr Olorunnimbe made it point clear that the president is the only individual in the right position to give an ultimatum to support the or  stop the registration of the National Identity Number (NIN) in the country.

Dr Mamora made this statement was connected to what he said earlier concerning the  stoppage of the NIN enrollment due to the increase cases of coronavirus due to unending flouting of coronavirus cases.

Dr Sani aliyu, PTF National coordinator made it known that all security agencies will not relent in implementation of non-pharmaceutical means in all the states.

The made it clear that irrespective of the the government decision not to lockdown that the security agencies are ever alert to to the protocols set and the recheck of the curfew place on some regions.

The PTF National  chairman also said that for traveler they will need a permit to do so  especially those from South Africa and UK.

Boss Mustapha, the PTF chairman also listed the causative agents of the covid-19  in the country since last November.

He explained that the increased cases were as a result of immigration in the country and inter- state travels, Religious activities, Business activities, Schools reopening etc.


Boss Mustapha also warned all that no state exempted from the covid-19 surge. According to the PTF chairman, no state in Nigeria is immune to the pandemic even if reports are not coming out of such states and advised all to abide by covid-19 laws at all times.
