Ole Gunnar Admits Man City were The Better Team

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the head coach of Manchester United conceded defeat in wake of their Capital One Cup semi-final defeat to their rivals Manchester city and confessed that their opponent was the best team on the pitch.

Sad as it maybe, this marks Manchester United 4th time of being dumped put of a semi-final match within 2 years as they are in need to add to their trophy cabinet after some years now.

Goals from Manchester city Midfielder Fernandinho and Defender John Stones spealt the end of Manchester run in the dreamland afterwards setting the victors a date in the final at the English National stadium Wembley on 25th April, 2021 with the North London club Tottenham after they defeated Brentford.

Ole Gunnar said “ it’s not always a matter of your thinking, when you meet a better team than yours such things happen” after his side lost again at the level of a competition.

“” Manchester city were the better team on the pitch and we lost against them since we didn’t do enough. The team is slowly taking shape to how i want them to be.” Ole Gunnar  said

The last time Manchester united won a trophy it was when the former head coach Jose Mourinho was in charge of the club in 2017 and since then they have been made to wait for another trophy.

Manchester City’s Manager Pep Guardiola had specially dedicated their win over Manchester United to their club legend, Colin Bell, 24 hours after his death at the age of 74.

The win was for his family and him. He had done so much for the club where he in 492 apps he scored 152 goals for the club within a 13 year career with the club that he won 5 Trophies with.

Manchester City will now play against Tottenham for the Carling cup final come 25th April, 2021 at Wembley stadium in the city’s capital.
